![]() ![]() | Residential Library | Dec 2006 | Our clients wanted a library with the feel of an old English drawing room, a quiet, cozy retreat in which they could relax with a book or write. We designed the room using classical elements and proportions. The woodwork was crafted of Lyptus, a sustainable plantation-grown hardwood. The veneers in the panelling are sequenced and matched. All finishing was done by hand, a six-step process using dye-stain, shellac, glazes, and varnish to make it look as if it had always been there. | $1 | Seattle, WA |

As you descend the stairs you enter a street scene with a pharmacy (his father's profession), a butcher shop (her father's), a bank (his father's coin collection), and the toy store. | Seattle, WA |
