Florida Living Quarters Interior Design

I started working with Ericka, the owner, in April of this year. I terminated my relationship with her in September of this year for many reasons. My first encounter was when my shutters were to be installed. I noticed the shutter for the patio was 37 inches wide with for slide panels. I called Ericka and told her they were not what I wanted they would cover the view. I told her I had wanted by fold ones. She told me "call someone with a truck and take them to the dump". It was not her problem. Only when I stopped payment did she agree to give me half my money back. Another incident happed soon after. In July she brought over all my area rugs. They were never opened or checked. We were renovating and could not open them until September. They were the wrong size. I needed 8x10 these were 5x7 and looked awful in the rooms. Again she told me its my fault send them back to the factory and pay the 15% restocking fee. When I contacted they told me the warranty had expired in July when she delivered them to me. She never told me that from that point on they could not be returned. I gave them to charity and contracted with Pottery Barn to finish what she didn't and they did a better job and I didn't have to worry about returning if I didn't like the item. Ericka orders almost all of what I purchased from a catalogue. You could not touch or sit or know what the exact color would be. She is not a nice person to work with NEVER NEVER did she say let me come over and see if we can fix the problem. It was always my problem do whatever to get rid of it. She is not a designer that wants to have a relationship with you, she just wants to move on to the next client. It ended with me losing money and having to spend more money fixing the things she did wrong. NO I would never recommend Ericka or Florida Living Quarters.
