I contacted Mr. Reid to replace and old shower with a new 3 piece shower complete with shower doors, two bathroom faucets and to replace old indoor/outdoor carpet with new. I was told that he would charge me $1,000. I was to buy all supplies which I did. Mr. Reid encountered issues which included additional time and effort of his part. When he finished the work he gave me a bill which was not what he told me and he said that he would not perform the job for a $1,000.. He NEVER gave me a contract! It is my fault for not getting his services in writing. When he presented me with his bill he was argumentative when I asked him about it. He argued with me regarding what he charged telling me wouldn't have done the job for a $1,000 but THAT was the understanding. At no time was there any mention of travel time additional purchase of supplies or additional charges for my porch and faucets. I ended up writing him an additional check for $437.73 which I would like to be refunded. NOT HAPPY!

Jim Reid is an outstanding, trustworthy, reliable, perfectionist. He a craftsman like no others in today's world. He is old school kindness, professionalism, and has integrity and pride in everything he does! He is the one and only contractor I will ever use!!
