Rodberg Plumbing Inc

I called Rodberg Plumbing because it was recommended by Home Advisor. Home Advisor has ignored my complaint. I had already drained the left side of my double sink more than once so I knew the blockage on the right side where the garbage disposal is located. Alan, a Rodberg Plumbing employee, quoted me the price of $325.00 to unclog the garbage disposal, but . He said if I needed a new one, it would be an additional $275.00 for a total of $600.00. After I told him I was only interested in unclogging the sink, he offered a senior discount of $25.00 which brought the cost $300.00, After Alan unclogged the garbage disposal in a matter of minutes, he lowered the price again to $250.00, but before he did, he went out to his truck and brought in a “snake” and pretended to use it. It was not needed both sides were now clear and open; Alan had already tossed the debris from the right side down the toilet. After I discussed my unhappiness with friends and family, a neighbor called Rodberg Plumbing and spoke to the owner, Steven Rodberg and asked for a quote. Steven Rodberg quoted $150.00 for unclogging a garbage disposal and an additional $100.00 for a new garbage disposal which totals $250.00. Alan, the Rodberg employee only unclogged my garbage disposal and overcharged me by $100.00. I wrote a letter to Rodberg Plumbing asking for the $100.00 refund and was totally ignored. I would never recommend Rodberg Plumbing to anyone.

The company screwed up my toilet install by trying to reuse an existing damaged flange. The tech made the decision, not the customer, as I would have gladly paid for the additional time and materials during the install. The technician also unplugged my freezer to use his power tool and failed to plug it back in. So now I'm out about $400 in lost food, and they charged me another $200 to fix their initial mistake. And the owner isn't even considering cutting the customer slack for their mistake, nor offering any compensation for the lost food. I would never recommend this company... except to some of my enemies. They're fast on the initial online request, and seem inexpensive at first. But if they have to do the work more than once, you're losing money with them vs. the competition.
