Trex Elevations Steel Deck | Oct 2012 | Large hillside deck build project. Existing deck was old and dangerous. The new deck was built with Trex Elevations new galvanized steel deck frame system and Timbertech composite decking. Very sturdy and will last much longer than the old deck. | $35k | Waxhaw, NC
Kitchen Makeover | Jan 2012 | This was a fun kitchen project that only took two weeks to complete. The original cabinets were installed too low so many counter-top appliances would not fit. We raised the cabinets up and installed them correctly this time with better screws. The original pantry in this kitchen had junky bi-fold doors that were always open and in the owner's way. We were able to remove the pantry entirely and replace it with a built-in cabinet with heady duty drawers and soft-close or self-drawer slides. The pantry only had 11 inch shelves in a 24 inch deep space so our new unit maximizes space and has more storage and opens up the room to allow more light from the dining room windows. It made a huge difference. We also replaced the cabinet above the fridge with a larger, more accessible cabinet with full-extension pull out shelves. Finally we rebuilt all of the door and drawer fronts and re-finished all of the cabinets in a white lacquer with a bullet proof polyurethane clear finish. Add a new sink with a red tile backsplash and you have a real stunning kitchen on a small budget that was completed with little interruption to the homeowner's. | $10k | Fort Mill, SC
Dining room bump out | Nov 2011 | This home suffered from a cramped dining room. The few times a year it was actually used, there was very little room between the dining room table and the hutch along the wall. Our solution was to bump out the wall and replace the hutch with a built-in cabinet. The results are stunning and the cabinet has become a focal point for the main living area of the home. Extra deep, heavy duty pull-out shelves with self-closing undermount drawer slides provide lots of room to store china and the glass upper cabinets proudly display the stemware. | $6k | Fort Mill, SC
Wide Plank Flooring with custom border | Jun 2011 | Choosing the right hardwood floor species can be difficult and time consuming and there are lots of flooring installers available to put it in your house but have you thought about the board width, moisture content, humidity or installation pattern and decorative touches. Think about how it will look installed in different patterns and designs as well as with finishing touches like borders, mosaic medallions and decorative borders. If you don't want to settle for a "plain" hardwood floor installation, we can help give you a custom, craftsman look. We also like to install wood stair treads and risers, reclaimed wood or locally harvested wood floors, new baseboard and shoe molding, custom flush mount HVAC vents as well as custom inlays and borders. | $4k | Lancaster, SC |
