Water Damage - Levittown PA 19054

Jul 2015

The client experienced a pipe burst above the kitchen cabinets and flooded the entire house. There was property and water damage in the kitchen, dining room, living room and all 3 bedrooms. Our crew removed all the water damaged materials and dried the house using state of the art drying equipment. We also rebuilt the kitchen, walls, carpets and painted the entire house where the water damage caused property damage. Clients Review on Angie’s List: Service Team of Professionals Eastern PA was at our home within 3 hours of us contacting them. We were very upset because the house was for sale and we had a buyer who was going to close on the house in a few weeks. Phil Goodson worked extra hard to get our home back to pre-loss condition to help the sale go through. His crew worked within the time frame needed and coordinated their efforts to keep us on track for the sale. They even did extras to help the sale go through. The entire process was explained and Phil discussed any delays when they came up. We felt like part of the process and always knew where the project was at all times. This was an emotional time for us and Phil helped us get through it with minimal pain. He dealt with the insurance company, realtor and adjuster. He was by our side the entire process. We are very fortunate we hired Phil Goodson and Service Team of Professionals Eastern PA. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous and went the extra mile. They even helped us pick out the new materials and offered suggestions on what would work together while staying within budget. They were great to work with and we would highly recommend their services!!!

Flooded House - Perkasie PA 18944

Jun 2015

While the client was away on vacation their 2nd floor bathroom toilet supply line burst and flooded the entire house. The basement was hit the hardest and had to be completely gutted before we could begin the drying process. We stopped the water leak and began removing the customer’s contents to avoid further damage. Our team extracted the excess water from the carpet, padding and walls. The crew began the demolition process and removed all of the wet sheet rock, insulation and trim. After we cleaned up the site we set up our drying equipment to remove any excess water from the structure. After a few days of monitoring the drying process the basement was ready to be rebuilt. The home owner chose to perform the rebuild on their own.

Severe Mold in Basement: Yardley PA 19067

May 2015

The customer purchased a foreclosed house in Yardley, PA 19067 which had been vacant for over 2 years. The basement sump pump failed and water was allowed to enter the basement. Since the water evaporated and was not removed properly, mold began to form on the walls, floor and ceiling rafters. The Pre-Mold test showed levels of 80,000 parts per meter which is extremely high and unsafe for humans to live in. Service Team of Professionals Eastern PA was hired to test and remediate the mold. Our crews began by setting up a containment barrier to prevent further cross contamination while the basement was being remediated. Air scrubbers where set up and the exhaust was vented to the outside via the basement window. The team performed a “HEPA” sandwich which is a process where we HEPA vacuum the live mold, treat the exposed area with an anti-microbial solution and HEPA vacuum a second time to remove the dead mold. This process is very effective in removing the mold and leaving a clean surface. Part of our service is to encapsulate the treated areas to help prevent the future growth of mold. We used a clear solution for the ceiling rafters and a white tinted solution for the walls. Even the floor was treated and encapsulated with a grey tinted version to make the basement look like a show room floor.

Mold from Leaking window: Bensalem, PA 19020

Mar 2015

The customer’s window had been leaking for months and the water damage caused mold to grow behind the wall and on the insulation. The home owner decided to install a new window and remediate the mold which had spread the length of the entire wall. Service Team of Professionals Eastern PA was hired to remediate the mold and encapsulate the area to discourage the future growth of mold should the window leak again. This was a smaller job which required minimal demolition and clean up. The entire process took only a few days and the window was installed shortly after. Once the mold damaged materials were removed we performed a “HEPA” sandwich which is a process where we HEPA vacuum the live mold, treat the exposed area with an anti-microbial solution and HEPA vacuum a second time to remove the dead mold. This process is very effective in removing the mold and leaving a clean surface. Since the area was to be reinsulated and closed off with new sheet rock we used a white tinted encapsulation solution to prevent the future grow of mold.
