Rafael did half way job. He painted over door knobs, hair, nail, p-hole and plaster, etc. He only painted one side of the door frame of all door. He didn't know how to build a WH stand and faked it. He asked me to pay him in full and told me everything is done. He refused to come back to fix his mess and play that no-show number on me. When I told him I will report him to McCarran, he called to lie about his work truck and tools got stolen. I now have to hire someone else to finish his job. He is a criminal to say the least.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is my story. Rafael and I arranged a time for him to fix our deck- Monday at 830am. I was not able to take time off work so I asked my father stay at my house to let him in. Rafael did not show up and he did not tell me. I reached out to him and he said he had a family emergency. I understand things happen so Rafael sent Julio (his partner) to come to our house on Tuesday at 330pm. Julio did not arrive at all on Tuesday and again I received no communication. Later that night Rafael said Julio will arrive on Wednesday at 330pm. Julio did not arrive at 330pm, but at 530pm. Julio said he needed money for materials and would come back on Thursday at 7am. I gave $150 for materials. Then on Thursday, Julio did not arrived at 7am with NO COMMUNICATION. I reached out to him and Rafael and they gave little information on when they would come. I even missed a wedding appointment waiting for them. Without notice, Julio arrived at our house at 8pm AT NIGHT. He worked for two hours, asked for another $150 for materials, then left saying he would return on Friday at 7am. On Friday, Julio arrived at 8am..again not on time. He worked more, asked $200 for materials and then "finished" . He told us to Zelle Rafael the rest. Afterwards, I realized the deck was completely unsafe and not stable. My fiancé had to put in 100 more screws and we will have to go to home depot to buy more supports. Rafael asked for payment, we said no since the deck was not complete. He said he will have Julio come out to look at it, but never gave us a time. Julio showed up at 6pm but we were not home. We canceled services and paid $150 more even though the deck is useless without extra work to be done. I DO NOT trust this company to come back and "fix" it when they couldn't do it right to begin with. I am amazed how little they cared for our time and their lack of communication. I have read other bad reviews and they claim its a angry subcontractor so please know this is real. If you care about quality, your time, and communication, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Great job replacing my kitchen faucets. Rafael was easy to work with, prompt and efficient. I'm also hiring him to do more projects around my house.

McCarran Handyman Services did a horrible job that ruined my house. On December 5, 2019 on my history I hired McCarran Handyman Services of Robert Broderick to fix upstairs bathroom tiles. The upstairs’ bathroom 2 tiles (16 by 16) removed. Because that tiles next to bath tub were not even, behind toilet side open wide gap. Robert did not place any hardy backer and waterproof material on the tile to small wooden base floor that did not cover the entire floor so gaps open every where on evening during the 2 day work. As a result, odor smell whole house since Robert’s poor tile job was over the air condition pipe which caused odors to blow through the vents. He did small board don’t w/o cover up all the way. From December 5, 2019 to until October 23, 2020 the smell bad in house. At first I thought it was a plumbing issue so I hired multiple plumbers but they said that my pipes are not damaged and are fine. I hired a tile professional to fix Robert’s work on October 23, 2020 after he told me that the poor tile work had caused the odor smell. I did not know that Robert’s poor tile work in December 2019 had caused the odor. He did bad job with the tile work according to the tile professional. I will never ever hire McCarran Handyman Service again.
