Well, let me tell you about my experience with American Home Exteriors in Las Vegas NV. As I was leaving Sam's Club I noticed they have install and remodeling services for your home so I asked for a quote for my front door which needs to be replaced as well as a few other things such a sill build out, fixing of stucco as well as repainting. I had originally gotten a quote from a licensed handyman for $1050 with the recycling of some of my parts. I decided to look into other quotes and was first met with a quote from Home Depot straight forward and pretty reasonable. They quoted me $930 and will be using all new materials. To say the least I was pleasantly surprised and happy at this news. Now I was told the appt for the quote from American Home Exteriors was to be the following day Saturday at 9am. I was taken aback by the quick response time and accepted it. Just a few hours later I received a call saying the associate had misspoke and would need to reschedule for Tuesday at 10am. I agreed because I wanted to see if they would give me a possibly cheaper alternative or make me want to give them my business over the others. I was called on Monday to confirm the appt for the next morning and yet again maybe an hour later I was called to reschedule for 3:30 pm on Tuesday. I accepted her explanation that they had a sick employee and they would need to reschedule due to this. She also had stated that the owner of the company would be coming to my house for the quote. When he arrived he was very nice and cordial and he told me the same work that I had been quoted by everyone else would cost $2300 with them. I am not sure why it would be twice the cost and then some for the same work and when I proceeded to ask him why he decided to tell me because they are licensed and insured and they don't subsidize work, expressing and implying that HD does not and will not have a licensed install company. So you mean to tell me there is $1300 more in materials and labor? He proceeded with telling me the door will be fiberglass not steel and how the composite door jam would last more than 8-10 years which the one HD installs will and he will warranty the work for the period of time we own the house. So my answer was, "What if I sell the house in 8-10 years? I will have spent $2300 for the door when I could have gotten away with less than half that cost?!?!" His response was not to put me at ease or help get the sale it was, "If your door ends up in the same condition it is right now after the install will you be happy?!" First of all why would you ask that question. Obviously the answer is no and when I said no he said ok go with them and that is what you will get. I am sorry but that was trash talking the competition to get my business. Home Depot is completely licensed and the company for the install is also licensed and insured. Needless to say I will not be going with American Home Exteriors and have gone with Home Depot. All I can say is make sure you get multiple quotes before you make your decision. Especially when this company is charging more than double for the same work elsewhere.

The guys did excellent work showed up a little early which was great didn’t take all day to do it over all they did really good job

Amazing service. Kevin came out and helped me picked the windows i needed for my house. And for WAY LESS than Home Depot or Sears. The install crew was so friendly and professional. Must hire if looking for windows or Doors Michael Benefecio
