Seals Electric did an amazing job on my EVSE install. I gave them a call and Mr. Seals was able to come out and install a new circuit for my charger the same day I called. When there were a few complications due to the construction of the home, he explains the situation and what options I had. At the end, I was more than satisfied by his workmanship and plan to use him for some other projects I have.

I’m had no idea what was going on with my electrical outlets ....one by one they were going out .. Seals Electric was recommended. All is fine ,job well done..thanks

Tim Seals was unprofessional from the start, giving us rude one word answers whenever we tried to confirm that he was coming per our Sears Warranty. He kept claiming he never heard from Sears, when Sears continuously told us they had provided him the authorization, and we’re since sure they did; he probably overlooked it. When he finally showed up (2 hours later than he promised, and never contacted us to tell us he was running late, and after claiming he had the wrong address even though we had clearly texted him the address the day before) he quickly scared us by telling us our electrical panel was faulty and we were at risk of fire. He first said we were facing a $3300 job to replace the entire panel. Then said he could “help us out by instead replacing 4 single breakers with double breakers, for only $725 plus parts”. We were scared of the fire hazard, so we said go ahead. He said the replacement breakers would be $10-20 each. First he said he’d get 4 or 5, then claimed he couldn’t get them at our local Home Depot (which we since learned was not true). Then I realized we had 2 double breakers already which simply had to get moved, so we only needed 2 more new double breakers. He claimed he wouldn’t charge us for more parts than we needed. Next morning he claimed they were $55 each at a supply shop. We thought we were in good hands so reluctantly told him to go ahead. (We since learned they were available at Home Depot for approx $10 each). He arrived and was done in 10 minutes, and swore that he had to replace 3 breakers for $55 each + tax, even though we’re sure we really only needed 2 new double breakers. We asked for a little extra help to relabel our panel, figuring that’s the least he could do for charging us $725 for 10 minutes of labor, but he got belligerent and said he’d charge extra for that, and that “we’d already gotten what we paid for”. So the final bill was $725 plus $167 for breakers. The receipt he gave us for the breakers said “box” for “$167” so we’re pretty sure he charged us for an entire box of breakers and kept the rest. Stay away from Seals Electric, Tim is a smooth talker who took advantage of us and will probably do the same to others. We would not recommend him to anyone.
