Vent Sleeve Replacement | Jul 2015 | Both of the "roof sleeves" around the PVC vent pipes were deteriorated and leaking water into the attic, then onto the insulation, then onto the drywall. As you can imagine this is how my customers discovered the leak to begin with. I would like to take this opportunity to let all of my friends/potential customers know... If you live in a dwelling which has plumbing, ( let's just assume you all do 😊 ) then you have plumbing vent pipes protruding through your roof. These vent pipes have a rubber collar/sleeve around them as they passed through the shingles. The life expectancy of this rubber sleeve is approximately 6-7 years. So, if you have not replaced your roof vent sleeves in the past 10 years... they are DEFINITELY leaking! And more than likely you don't even know it because the majority of the water is falling on the insulation. If you feel you may be in need of our services… please do not hesitate to call! 😊 I am posting some before & after pics of this latest repair. | Ellicott, MD
Ellicott City Bathroom Remodel | Jul 2015 | This house was built two years after the Civil War. As we got into things we began to notice they were definite structural issues with the sub-flooring in the bathroom. ( more than likely throughout the entire house ) So I thought I would share some of the beginning stages of this undertaking, which obviously, has turned into way more than we had originally anticipated. But that's the nature of this business, very few people actually know what they're doing. | Ellicott City, MD
