A.R. SIMS HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

2 years ago July Sears recommended ARSims Heating & Air to me, both of my units were hit by lightning we had a bad storm that June. They sent a representative out he gave me an estimate I chose them over the other 2 companies because the representative seemed knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me how all of this process worked. After they installed the 2 units they house still was not cool upstairs and the system was making a horrendous noise coming from the attic, the wiring was put outside the wall it was bad. They came out approximately 8 times in 6 months. I got a call from the owner Arnold Sims the next March that the units were put in wrong the larger unit was put downstairs and vice versa I was shocked they knew their guys didn’t put the units back in the way they took them out and that’s why they weren’t cooling. I allowed them to make all of the changes they said were needed. I called another company to come service my units the guy told me from Barbi’s I had 9 different problems and a leak of coolant was one I couldn’t believe it they just installed them the pervious summer. I called another company as Barbi’s wanted over $3000 to repair new units never telling me exactly what they found upstairs so I got another second opinion without telling the guy about Barbi’s, his company the guy took pics 10 of them brought them to show me wires handing everywhere in and near the units he gave me a detailed list of problems with the unit I contacted AR Sims sent Arnola Sims the pictures and the details I sent her the letter I sent my homeowners insurance company as they wrote the check to pay them. Arnola Sims never responded until winter came and I went through the task of suing ARSims in the courts in Duluth where they are from. Long story short. I won the case against A R Sims Heating & Air Last Dec. 2019. Then I had to on my on recover the money I took a substantial loss because I only sued For repair the units as the estimate gave me the courts would not allow me to change the amount of the suit the day of court as I had been told. It took money to get the heating portions up and working properly that I wasn’t able to recover either. Ofcourse They lied in court to booster their case but the Judge found them libel. I remembered that I wrote a check to them to pay for something after they installed the units that they lied and said wasn’t covered by my insurance over $400, I called my Credit Union I had them research to see what bank cashed the check for them and I was right the first time. it would have been a needle in a hay stack to send a garnishment to all the banks in Atlanta to find the right one. I got it the first time then now I had to time sending the garnishment to the bank around the first week of the month when they would have to pay rent on their building I timed that perfect I was only able to recover $3000, But at this point it was about the principle they never tried to make it right, they avoided me and lied, oh it was July 5 the date they installed 2017 hot as kin pepper their men working on the units at my house didn’t bring a lunch, how were they going to work in all that heat in the attic with nothing to fuel their bodies so I made them lunch. It wasn’t steak but it filled them and they were glad to get it. I was the kind Minister of the Gospel that I was taught to be. I had a good conscious about what I did my entire dealings with these people I was more than fair to them they were my worst nightmare. I have proof for everything in the body of this review. I still wasn’t going to give them a review I felt let go let God , but tonight I felt a strong feeling that I should maybe someone else is going through the same thing with them. Oh the courts do not help you recover the monies that they said you are owed your on your on they give you standards and time limits to do it by that’s it. Look now you know AR Sims Heating & Air Condition work is shabby and just plain bad.
