Artscaping lawnCare

I couldn't agree more with Jourinea P.'s review and only wished I had seen that review sooner than later. Artscaping lawncare is not a professional company and has no crew established, just looking for something to do to keep the bills paid. Our contact owner was, Garnet Isadore Jones, who claimed to be doing this line of work for 35 years but seemed to be very inexperienced not strong, and lazy! My husband did contribute to the labor (although we are paying him for labor!) to help him out. Before you start a job like this putting new sod down, retainer wall, and installing pipe underground, Garnet Isadore Jones should have contacted the gas company first to do a locator of the gas line, but failed to do so. In the process of digging to install a retaining wall, he popped the gas line, which led the fire department to come out to stop the gas leak and received a fine. As for the sod, he did not do a good job at all and did not receive professional landscaping service. My husband and I will not refer him to our friends, neighbors, colleagues or anybody at all because we feel that the service he deliver fell short of what he was paid. Do not do business with Artscaping Lawncare because you will regret it as we have. I was looking for a zero (0) star because that is what he really deserves - no good review from us!

The landscaping "professional" from this place was anything but. Our experience with this company was quite a unique one I must say. Besides the guy trying to talk me into going against my HOA rules for approving landscaping jobs, calling me almost everyday (including holidays and late at night) about absolutely nothing, and trying to get thousands of dollars from me without a contract and in cold hard cash... the job was completely lackluster and subpar at best. First he tried to install dead flowers in my yard even though I asked him to get my approval before buying any plant life, then he used old dirty material for my project so the final look isn't as polished as promised, then tried to get me to pick up bricks and other material from the store for him (I mean come on, I'm paying you for labor). This guy hounded me for money from day one. He didn't even have the seed money to purchase materials for this project. He wanted me to give him over 50% cost up front in cash and when I demanded a contract, he wrote it on a piece of paper. When asked for pictures of the plants he was to install he refuse to provide them and his sketches didn't look like anything like the finished project. Do not do business with these people. I don't know what kind of place this is but it is not a business. It's just random people looking to do odd jobs for a bit of money.
