Bass House | Feb 2015 | Bass House is a standard construction home built using traditional 2x4 studs. However, we used spray in foam in the walls to achieve maximum r-value for the space and because of the excellent air sealing qualities of the foam. The home also incorporates 2 heat pumps. One for the upstairs and one downstairs. The roof decking also incorporated a radiant barrier. Energy Star appliances were used throughout the home. We also used water saving fixtures in all bathrooms and kitchen. Since the home is built on top of a hill, in the wide open, and we are in the middle of "Tornado Alley", we installed an in-floor storm shelter in the garage. | Lawton, OK |
