Hoods Handyman service

Currently seeking legal actions. He seems so honest and real up front. His charisma makes you believe in him. He acts like he is going to do a great job for you. However, has no intentions on doing anything but taking your money. I wish i would have seen all the other reviews first. They are absolutely correct. Shame on this guy and shame on Porch.com for allowing him to advertise on their website. In addition to this he is still a registered sex offender with Caldwell County. Joshua hood is a scam 25 years in service he's only my 28 years old. He came out looked at our project price seemed reasonable. He statements job next day April 23 2019 got All the money. Said he had to pay his help and get equipment to finish job tofinish job. Text back and forth because he wouldn't answer calls. Kept putting the job off for one reason or another.haventbhward heard from him since may 1 2019. Everyday he was on his way to my house but never showed up. Now I have no other resort but to legally Perdue the issue

Do not use this contractor. They did not complete the job. I paid them in full believing that they will complete the job. They do not return call or texts.

Do not Use. Joshua did a contract, but needed me to photocopy (just moved, didn't have it) collected 1/2 up front. Subcontracted the job, that guy wanted 1/3, explained Josh said 1/2 up front and 1/2 on completion and that upset him. Difficult as HECK to get responses from either of these guys, subcontractor couldn't keep / get help and kept hitting me up for CASH each day he was there. Day 90% of the work was done he wanted to get paid and I suspected I'd never see him again - it's been two weeks no response from Josh Hood or his subcontractor. AVOID Hoods Handyman. If they show up, they will not get the job done.
