Coen Design Landscape Architecture is a small design oriented landscape architecture company located in western North Carolina serving the Carolinas, Tennessee, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Coen Design serves clients independently or can assemble a team of architects and engineers as needed for more complex projects. Services include residential and commercial landscape planting design, stream design and restoration, site design grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, construction pollution prevention design, contractor training, construction stormwater compliance inspections and residential or commercial landscape restoration planning and design. Coen Design is committed to creating supportive and sustainable places for people to live, work and play. Duane is formerly Director of Civil Design for Lowe's Companies, Inc. where he managed all site design criteria and specifications for over 1750 retail locations nationwide.
