ETR's single largest source of revenue is testing private well water. Dump a bunch of household bleach into the system, circulate the bleach through the system and then close the system down for up to 24 hours. In addition to the inconvenience of not being able to use you water for 24 hours there is the fact that house hold bleach contains levels of heavy metals that are probably not desirable to add to one's drinking water. With the ETR Well Water Disinfection Kit one does not have to shut down the water system at all and there are no heavy metals included. In fact the way the ETR Kit works, if there were no prior health issues from using the water, one can continue to use it as normal through the entire process. The ETR Premium Well Cap Kit is designed to provide all parts and instructions necessary for a moderately handy person to install a top of the line Well Cap to protect their well water from common sources of contamination including: *Insects *Rodents *Airborne microorganisms *Other surface contaminants Our experience is that nearly half of all wells have a cap which is inadequate to ensure that the water in the well is not contaminated from external sources.
