Parsec Consults & Designs was founded in September of 2018; its creation was inspired by what was not being done when it comes to customer relationships, the lack of craftsmanship, forgotten knowledge within the trades, and insuring that the promises being made were kept. It is Parsec’s obligation to make fore sure that every project that we take on is completed to our customers expectations and more.

Very pleased with this company and their workmanship. I will recommend them to anyone that has a staining/painting project. A Knowledgeable and reliable company that is client oriented and passionate about their work. It's been a great experience from beginning to end.

Couldn’t be happier with Morgan of Parsec Consults and Designs! He did a wonderful job matching the old paint on my fence with the new sections of fence boards. He was very professional to work with and took the time to understand my needs and my budget. Will definitely use him for future projects. Give them a chance, you won’t be disappointed!

We just do not paint! | Jul 2018 | No matter what we are here to help, this project was one of my favorites this year. This was a complete landscaping project that I helped design and completed. It took about two weeks to complete, it involved lawn care, weed care, fertilization from flower bed to grass, over 100 bags of mulch, 400 pieces of stone, logs, 20 bags of bedrock, tones of round up, and a lot of pressure washing. I do enjoy landscaping projects! | $3k | Lexington, KY
Lacquer Stain System | Jun 2018 | This is a good example of how you can take popular wood and really turn it into something very beautiful. Wish I had before pictures, hate myself for that. Process was one coat of lacquer stain and four clear coats of clear lacquer sprayed with HVLP. | $1k | Lexington, KY
One of my favorite exterior door projects | Aug 2017 | This front door was done last year (2017), the picture was taken this September. The picture says a thousands words on how this front door is holding up after one year of receiving a lot of punishment from mother nature. The customer had been through a lot and was told that the door would need to be completely striped and redone. Not the case, I cleaned and sanded the door down (did not strip the previous coating, it had great surface tension) then applied the first color coat of high end oil film forming stain. 24 hours I then buffed and applied a coat of clear that is married to the stain, after another 24 hours I applied another clear coat. The wood trim around the door was the only only thing that had to be stripped since it was a different color, that trim was matched and received the same coating process as the door it self. Project took a total of 4 days to complete. | $1k | Lexington, KY
Church Cabinets | Mar 2017 | This cabinet/desk is in a church that did not have the money to really refinish this project like it should been or like most would. The original coating was a high gloss lacquer and was a light brown color. The customer wanted the cabinets/desk to be matched to a piece of furniture that was ebony. Therefore made this a challenge, but not impossible. Could not strip original finish due to budget, so I decided to use a coating intermix that has no issues sticking to metal. This first coat finish is a modified urethane tung oil mixed with 100% solid stain to get the correct color. Once first coat was applied, a clear coat of the same urethane tung oil was applied with no stain mixed in. To this day it looks great considering the traffic it receives! Picture is shown of onsite match, two drawers on a table, drawer on the right is the original and drawer on the left is the match. | $1k | Lexington, KY
Thinking Outside the Box | Nov 2016 | This was a very interesting project, the drywall company came in and repaired and added new walls. While in the process they had taped plastic to the floor, this is what most and should do to control the mess. Yet when the tape was removed it ripped up the floor coating and showed a very detailed tape line throughout every hallway in this office building. So it was my job to fix it and the company or property management was not about to pay to have 6,000 square feet of floor redone. So this was a touch up on a acid stained floor that was over 10 years old... This took all of my skills to blend and make this work for everyone. Project took two days... | $750 | Lexington, KY
Bar Top Nightmare | Apr 2017 | I did this project for someone that I absolutely love and admire, Rebecca thank you for everything... So this customer hired a contractor to refinish her bar, he did a great job until it came to the bar top. When you do not understand the chemistry of the coatings you are using this is what will happen. In the before photos you will notice all the spot (this is caused when you over apply a coating and it can not out gas correctly), this painter applied the clear coat way to heavy and it did not cure out correctly. So to fix it you must sand it all off then start over, problem was no body really knew the color and it was matched by color toning until finished. Four coats total was applied, one stain coat, one color coat of finish and two coats of clear. Project took 4 days to complete and a absolute mess due to sanding. | Paris, KY
Cabinets and Floor | Oct 2015 | This is a 4 car garage that was done for a client that absoulty love cars, so the theme was designed around that. The floor it self was cleaned and etched, once dried it was then one coated with a 100% metallic epoxy. Wish more prep could have been done (all concrete floors should be grind down), but budget just was not there. The cabinets were prefinished red oak, they were cleaned and sanded to spec. Once prepped out, I coated them with a industrial oil (one of the main components of this paint is polyurethane, reason why it works so well on stained or varnished wood cabinets), a second coat was applied 24 hours after the first. No primer is required as long as prep is done correctly! Wall stencils were done by a good friend and faux artist that I know, good to have contacts... | Lexington, KY
Store Remodel | Jul 2015 | This was for a paint store that I help open, complete demolition and repaint of much of the project. The floors were already coated with so many types of epoxy that it was not funny. No budget to grind old coating off, so a tie coating was applied to bond and bind old floor paint down. An extra touch was added to the old wooded doors with left over epoxy, kinda amazing how they turned out. All painting of walls were done by another paint company that I brought in to help meet deadline. All floors and demolition was done by me and one other, project took about three weeks... | Lexington, KY
