For over ten years Charles Basinger, owner of What We Made In The Barn, has been creating extraordinary rustic, modern, urban furniture and other useful things. Since our beginning we have focused on using reclaimed wood, revealing its natural beauty while adding design and purpose. Each reclaimed wood furniture piece is custom handmade in our barn with quality always in the forefront of our process. We have always used reclaimed or repurposed wood from barns, old buildings, and discarded trees in our solid wood furniture. We use a variety of hardwoods, including but not limited to: Hickory, Maple, Walnut, Oak and Pine. As custom furniture makers, we take the historic values of craftsmanship and combine with a contemporary feel for design. Meticulous workmanship and attention to detail in both manufacture and finish are the hallmarks of What We Made In The Barn.
