About Design for the Home
Design for the Home is an interior design firm with the ability to also construct our designs for a turn key approach to the project. The owners, Carter and Jill Anderson, have been married for 12 years and in business for 10. They have a love of design and the ability to customize any space. They have traveled to Kansas, Tennessee, and Florida for projects, so no matter where the project may be, they welcome the opportunity. Design for the Home prides itself on giving clients a space that fits their family and lifestyle while staying in budget and on task. Some various jobs that they have completed include: kitchen and bathroom remodels, custom decks, custom carpentry, home design, showroom design, furniture design and construction, and decorating.

  | Custom deck around salt water pool | Jul 2013 | We designed and constructed this deck around a salt water pool after a tree had destroyed the old deck. We charged only for our labor, which was a fixed cost and our client paid the lumbar yard directly. We demolished and disposed of the old deck and constructed this new deck and pergola. A specific problem that we solved for our client was the ability to get under his deck to his equipment. We also built a custom box for him to house all of his daily supplies for maintenance.
