You get what you pay for, I guess? Louie gave me a great price for pouring a concrete foundation for a shed I had purchased online. He showed up that first day and helped get his crew started. That is the last I saw of Louie. Concrete pour part of job - His crew wreaked of pot, which is whatever as long as they can get the job done but they did not. I didn't get out there with a level to double-check their work after they left but Louie was going to have his team come back to erect the shed so I figured if there was an issue they'd correct it. Shed erecting part of job - Different crew. Did a great job erecting the shed. However, towards the end it became obvious that the foundation was very uneven. This crew did not feel comfortable attaching the shed to the foundation because it was so off it would warp the shed so they used some loose boards from the frame of the foundation pour to prop it up and told me to contact Louie about the foundation. I contacted Louie on 9/7 about the gap and unfinished job that is precariously sitting in my yard that a decent wind could finish off my expensive shed and he assured me that they stand by their work and will come out. Since then he has committed to coming out several times and has been a no-show each time. I've reached out 5 times. It has been two weeks and the last time he even returned a message was a week ago to inform me that it is raining. I asked if that means he plans on re-pouring the foundation or what the plan is and he never responded. He has displayed absolutely no interest in correcting the issue. I'm going to have to figure this out on my own. Not sure what to do... maybe create a sub-floor in the shed out of plywood? Won't be able to put my mower in it because it is already elevated and getting the mower up the ramp and over a raised floor is out of the question so I guess I just wasted a few thousand dollars to have a place to put tools and stuff and I'll have to do this all over again to finally get a place to put my mower so I can park my car in the garage again, which was the whole point.

This guy flaked out on me 4 times. He said he legitimately forgot the first time and apologized. Next time he claims he was working late but never attempts to reschedule. So when I reached back out he gave me a solid 8-9am....to only text me at 9am and say 11:30a. Then 11:30 comes and he is a no call and no show again. Business must be good for him, my lesson is learned about his character. No thanks sir.

The absolute worst! Just like the comment above Louise was to make a driveway with a pad at the bottom of the hill. The pad was far from level and I could not build any kind of structure on top of it. He was supposed to return to fix the issue, that never happened. I am now opening a lawsuit against him. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this low life.

The guy (Louie Newton) told me he has been pouring concrete for 30 years. You would think that he would be good at it by now. He is extremely unorganized and does not stand by his word. The finishing job on the driveway is terrible. There are low spots that collect water. The edging is not rounded like it should be. The expansion joints are crooked. The driveway is already cracking near the street. It really is a poor excuse of a product from a "professional" that has been doing this for 30 years. The last thing he said to me before I hired him was "We do not accept any money until the job is complete." Apparently, that does not mean you will not be paying anything until the job was complete. I was paying for gravel, dirt, concrete removal and the concrete itself through out the whole process. He did not accept his payment until the end. I only paid him at the end because he "promised" to return to fix the parts they messed up. Boy, do I feel like an idiot. I guess that is what I get for trusting people. He was supposed to have a dumpster delivered so he could toss the old concrete slabs right into the dumpster. The dumpster never showed and he stacked the old broken up concrete slabs in the street for 3 days!! My neighbors loved that as did anybody else that drove down to the end of the cul-de-sac, where I live. There was at least an inch of mud on the street where he kept driving the bobcat to stack the concrete. What a mess! It looked like a war zone. Please, please, please, save yourself a headache, stress, high blood pressure and do NOT hire this guy. This is fair warning! He is a pathological liar and has a different excuse every time he does not show up when he said he would. He said he would show up yesterday; he didn't. he said he would show up today; he didn't. I left him numerous texts, voice messages and tried calling him numerous times; he just keeps ignoring me. He promised to come in next week to fix my driveway and now has fallen off the face of the earth. I want him to know that if he would have done what he said he would do, I would not be writing these scathing reviews (this one, BBB). I would never have recommended him but now I am going to write a review wherever I can. See you in court Louie Newton (Just Rite Concrete)!
