Not sure where the previous reviews are coming from because A to Z Home Improvements are basically remodeling an old inherited home in Asheville North Carolina presently and I have nothing but outstanding remarks to make on this group. They have laid tile on my back Sun porch have redone my kitchen floors and countertops are with ceramic tile and they look absolutely gorgeous they are remodeling my bathroom along with sand blast in the old clawfoot tub and I'm sure it's going to be gorgeous as well. He has gone above my expectations and my husband and I are very very pleased with his work. If you are looking for the perfect handyman I suggest you contact this phone number and you will not be disappointed. They also show up way before time to show up and leave when evening is approaching so they work way more hours than I would expect from any renovation team.

I hired John Hopkins to do build a retaining wall.. He took $3600. he said he needed for supplies.. Then he gave one excuse after another for 18 months about why he couldn't start.. After that I asked for my money back, he said he would send it certified mail..I got a check for $200. I complaint with the attorney general's office he responded that he was going to start repayment.. I have not gotten another dime and he doesn't answer his phone... He is a con artist..

Great guy and very personable, but did a sloppy job on my backsplash in kitchen. Wide grout lines, wide corners and the tiles were not even straight....Some tiles were chipped. John maybe great at some projects but really messed mine up. I had to hire someone else to take it down, put Sheetrock and then tile. It cost me double.. Only advise I have, do you homework and look around, read review.
