Over 58 years of dependability... Joe Russell began his plumbing career in 1934 with the Petit Galloway Company in Little Rock, Arkansas, as a plumbing apprentice. After eight years working in defense work at the Maumelle plant, he joined the U.S. Navy in 1942. After two years of service, Joe returned to the private sector as a plumber in San Diego, California. After relocating to Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1947, along with his wife Cleo, Joe established Joe Russell Plumbing Company. For the next 15 years the company specialized in new residence plumbing. In 1965 the company had outgrown its location on Cantrell Road and moved into a new building at the Cunningham Lake Road address. In April of that year, Hayes LeMay joined the company. A year later he married the Russell's daughter, Marian. The name of the company was later changed to Russell and LeMay Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in 1975. During the ensuing years, Russell and LeMay Plumbing and Heating, Inc. has maintained a leadership role in both commercial and residential plumbing, heating, and cooling. We are proud of the multitude of new churches, schools, clinics, hospitals, restaurants, shopping centers, and office buildings we have been a part of creating. We specialize in "space finish" work in shopping areas. We are equally committed to quality service in all areas of repair such as plumbing, heating, cooling, and major household appliances. Russell and LeMay is pleased to have "third generation family" helping operate the business. In our Accounts Payable, we have Erica Peoples, the youngest of two daughters of Hayes and Marian LeMay. Erica has been with the company for the past five years. Her husband, Brad joined the company five years ago. He went through a four year apprenticeship and turned out as a journeyman plumber in 2006. We are proud to have these two family members with us. Russell and LeMay is a family oriented business that cares about providing service to homes and businesses. "WE SELL SERVICE" is more than a motto, it is what our company has been built upon.
