Lamar Jackson of Goodson Steemer Cleaning in Livonia.... NEVER NEVER USE if you want your carpet cleaned: On Sunday 4/5/20 I Contacted Lamar to come clean my 4 y/o grandsons bedroom carpet after we found out that he had peed on the carpet. We were upfront with him about the situation and he assured us that he could clean the carpet and get rid of the smell. Lamar arrived on time and only took about 10 minutes to clean the 9x10 room. So, "quick and easy, or so we thought!" At the time of the service the room "smelled" clean. HOWEVER, the very next day, on the morning of Monday 4/6/20, after the carpet had a chance to dry completely, the smell was over whelming and seemed to permeate the entire carpet as if the water was being reused during the cleaning process. We contacted Lamar who said he would come out that day and repeat with his odor treatment at 230pm. He never showed up. On Tuesday morning he contacted us saying he was sorry and could he come out Tuesday. We told him yes then never heard back from him again on Tuesday until 930 pm when he said he could come Wednesday morning and started asking if we're making breakfast??? WTF? On Wednesday afternoon we tried AGAIN to contact him at 1230pm. He was still asking if we cooked him breakfast?? (NO I JUST WANT YOU TO GET THE PISS OUT OF MY CARPET LIKE I PAID YOU TO!!) He stated that he was on the way and would see us soon. At 6pm we finally went to Home Depot and rented a carpet cleaner to do the job myself. Which I was trying to avoid because I am disabled and dragging that heavy cleaner around was very difficult for me! I cleaned the carpet 2xs to get rid of the smell and let me tell you. The first cleaning I personally did, the after water was DISGUSTING the water wasVERY DIRTY AND BROWN. Not at all like a carpet that had been "Professionally" cleaned 3 days ago. At 7pm after cleaning the carpet myself i requested a refund from him via cash app as that's how he was paid. Of course he declined the refund. Apparently the satisfaction guarantee or money back doesn't apply any more.. I guess he thinks his behavior is professional and he did a good job.... NOT..... I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!! Especially if you really want your carpet CLEAN
