Don't like to be questioned about their work or asked to re do something you don't like. Swore at me, used intimidation, vindictive. Michael is a "charmer" as stated in the google reviews Does NOT stand behind his work, stated in Google reviews! Will take money and run! Employee put three colors on my floor I picked the darkest one. Returned home after first coat dried not the dark color I picked. Pictures documenting all. Requested they re do the color. Michael insisted floors fine-which they were however IT WAS NOT color put on floor I approved. Reason- "It is my floors" "several" different types of wood. "Why didn't your employees call me when color was not staining color I chose?" Michael "They don't do that" He agreed to redo floors for additional $600.00 in text message. Damaged walls, did not cover Plantation Shutters, did not close doors or cover 3 New Bathrooms, used bathrooms to store equipment & supplies, ruined 4 rugs, used fireplace as beverage bar, smoked on front porch with door open (continued after I told them to stop), dumped saw dust on new black roof top patio, spliced into electrical box, etc. Michael to meet me at my home 8AM Monday before his employees showed up to see. He did not show! Employees arrived, inform me he was not coming. Called Michael he said family emergency would not be coming. Assured me any damage he would take care of and work is guaranteed. They arrived back to stain my floors, employee walked in my door very aggressive trying to intimidate me to sign a paper stating this is the new color you picked and we will not be redoing again. He threatened to walk off the job if I did sign now. Called Michael he said after stain dried I would be able to start cleaning my shutters, fireplace, bathrooms etc. and that his employees would be cleaning walls etc. before the clear coat. However, when they got done sanding, I started to clean his employee got very aggressive with me and said "I don't care what Michael said" we need to get to another job you’re not cleaning" then he started swearing at me. Called Michael left the house. Two days later Michael came with for he wanted to be paid in full. Michael offered a cleaning service and to pay for damages and again guaranteed work. Paid him $4,200 + $600.00 CASH he said if I paid CASH I would not have to pay sales tax ($216.75). When handing Michael cash I asked for a receipt, he had nothing with him. I said I’m not paying cash without a receipt. He went to his truck text and e-mailed me receipt then left. I moved upstairs to clean. Opened master closet to find suits and shoes covered in saw dust, they stained the molding but NOT the closet floor. Michael said I "verbally" said NOT to do this closest and that they do not touch personal items however they moved all in my linen closet and bathrooms. I took shoes out went to get something to clean with when I returned employee had thrown shoes back in closest trying to intimated me! Putt clear coat on stairs forcing me off stairs. Found shavings caught between floor and bricks to fireplace. Returned from getting something to get out and the employee coated around the fireplace so I could not remove. The swearing, intimidation continued with the both employees. They had to go, had a babysitter waiting. Michael did nothing. They got me- they did not put the clear coat up to moldings and left chunks out of the floors in master bedroom. Tried calling, texting, e-mailing Michael finally called apologizing for the behavior, he said he would take care of. Printed bill-Michael created a NEW invoice, no $600.00, over charged by $200 w/$16.75 credit. Called him out, he said I owed additional $750.00 for staining entry-dining room. Michael blocked me from his cell. NO response since 9-30-20. He was a referral.
