My first interaction with Ricky from Goodhands was when he called my home around 10PM in the evening after receiving my inquiry. I thought that was rather late to be getting a call. I called him the following day and we scheduled a time before Thanksgiving to come out. On the scheduled day, he called and said the traffic was too bad and wouldn't make it. When he did show up a few days later, I was under the impression that he worked for a company that supplied the materials I wanted installed and that the estimate was free. At the end of his meeting, he stated that he only installed doors that I provided and wanted to know how I would be "paying" for the service call. He never mentioned there was a fee for the estimate as it was listed as a "free estimate" when I inquired. I paid him and he said it would be credited towards the labor and that I would get an estimate in the next few days. I never got another call or the estimate I paid for. I called him to ask for my $35 back on 12/29, over a month after I was supposed to get estimates. He claimed my email didn't go through, but he never called me to follow up. When I asked for my money back again, he answered me in a condescending tone and stated, "You need the money THAT bad?!" I do not think that Rickey with Goodhands is very professional and I would never do business with them again.

Good Hands did a great job building my covered deck. The work was superb and the grade A customer service took carpentry to a different level for me. The company gave me a great price and my family is now enjoying the added space and security of the premium deck.
