1.0 star rating 3/16/2016 First to Review A horrible experience. Purchased living room carpet in July 2015. They brought two separate pieces of carpet that were cut so that the seam went right through the middle of the living room as opposed to near a wall to one side. They installed a really poor padding under the carpet, although I ordered a better one. The padding cracked underfoot like bubble wrap. When couch was moved by installers (a modular electric reclining couch) we asked them to please not pick it up in one piece without disassembling-they did it anyway. We complained to "Jason" who claimed to be a manager. He promised to rectify the issue. We heard nothing for 8 months. Since we had discussed a price reduction AND we had already paid for more than half the carpet we assumed they decided it was not worth their time for the money left to pay. Now, suddenly, they send a bill for the money left. They want to come back and tear up the room to fix the problem. Since their installers could not speak or understand English, AND since they have very poor padding which one sales person claimed was not their fault, we seriously doubt they can fix it-only make it worse. We had come to accept we were stuck with it until we had a chance to buy carpeting elsewhere and we hoped we would find a company that was professional and had English speaking installers who would do as a customer requests. We had to have that couch repaired so it would recline again. Now Carpets of America threaten to send the remaining bill to collections OR we have to allow them to come in and tear up the room AGAIN. Buyer...BEWARE!
