Tom's paint job was entirely unprofessional, messy, and lazy. He does not remove any hardware and uses no blue tape. He leaves on electric plate covers for the paint job and attempts to paint around them (you can see brush strokes around the covers) and paints on them. His claim is that this is standard on all his jobs and that he never removes covers and has never used blue tape. He caused an incredible amount of damage to my entire home by spilling and splatting paint everywhere on all door hinges, my floors, and kitchen cabinets. He washed his paint brushes in my kitchen sink permanently staining the sink with paint. When confronted he said that my sink was old and he thought I would replace it. That's for me to decide, not him! As a contractor, he should be leaving the home the way he found it. He claimed that he would be able to take off all the paint that he spilled and splatted throughout my home, but ended up causing more damage in the process by scratching my wooden window frame to get off the paint and left a lot of paint still throughout my house. His paint job is incredibly amateur. (He also claims that inside closets only get one coat of paint — totally not industry standards.) His paint job is uneven with splats throughout and visible brush strokes. He blamed my old walls and has an excuse for everything.
