Advanced is a small, affordable, Longmont based electrical contractor. We specialize in residential remodels, new construction basement finishes, home automation controls, and lighting design, layout, and installation. Our Master has been diligently involved in the Colorado community for 12 years. With his background knowledge and extensive experience gained from working for several specialty companies during his career, Benjamin has steadily become one of Longmont's premier sought after tradesman. Benjamin applied the best aspects of each of these companies into his own company to ensure he provides the "best of the best" to each and every client and has extensive code compliancy knowledge which ensures that every job meets local, state, and National Electrical Standards. This company used to be called The Electric Guy LLC. The owner closed it and opened a new company called Advanced Electrical Repair LLC. The owner, Benjamin DeVries, has had multiple lawsuits against him for failure to complete work. I was one of his customers who had to take him to court. I think he figures he can change his company name and no one will find out he has ripped off customers. You can look up The Electric Guy LLC on Yelp, Thumbtack, Porch, BBB, etc.

Benjamin came in, did an estimate that took about 15 minutes; ordered the whole house fan; and as soon as it arrived, showed up with another guy and installed it in about an hour. Works flawlessly, and the unit he recommended (that "cadillac" model, as opposed to the noisier, cheaper one) appears to be top-notch. Would definitely go back to him with other electric/installation projects. In fact, I'm just about to.
