Palm Desert Remodel | Sep 2013 | An avid golfer, the client wanted this vacation home to be modern, comfortable and classic. The furnishings combine antiques, and contemporary pieces, set against a backdrop of clean lines.The house was almost completely torn down, and rebuilt and completely customized: bathrooms done in marble and custom tile, the kitchen with commercial style appliances and custom cabinets throughout. Screening room | Jan 2008 | The criteria for this screening room was to make it feel like an outdoor Roman amphitheatre/1920's movie palace. The "night sky" ceiling is patterned in fiber optics to reflect the star locations of the Southern Cross in Tanzania ca 1910, the custom columns are backlit to provide a glow and ambience, and the custom mural depicts downtown Los Angeles in the distance. In the bar area outside the screening room, the client wanted the feel of a 17th century English pub.
