Amazing company great people and they show up on time

First, I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. Upon arrival, the two men appeared to be very congenial, but under the affects of some foreign influence based on body movements, deportment, and historical signs associated with the same. Their credentials were inflated because they weren't supported in discussion, and/or by recommendations or the lack thereof; didn't take measurements. Once they left, the spokesperson called back under the pretenses of a character created during the initial visit in an effort to boast credentials and customer ratings by needlessly stating that he had been in the business, professionally, for 15 years, but later revealed that he's currently 30 yo; however, online, he gives credit for only 10. He didn't realize that I'd already read his profile and the previous review which was contrite to what appeared before me. Before departing, he stated that he would be consulting with the owner and would get back with me with a quote, but a subsequent visit might be necessary. Within five minutes of their departure, I received a call from a person claiming to be the owner. Be advised, I'd latched onto the vernacular similarities of the men who'd previously visited and felt that one of them were one in the same speaking to me on the phone as he'd called just before he arrived earlier from the same number; however, during that subsequent exchange, he questioned if I knew what a French drainage system was and after I dismissed the call because I had more important things to do with my time than to play with village idiots over the phone, he started messaging me and diverted to a topic that wasn't germane to anything that we'd previously discussed over the phone, but was discused with his pseudo representative during the onsite visit, which further solidified my suspicion that illicit drug use was in play and a scam was in progress. I hold porch.com, utterly, responsible for my experience as it had ample warning before subjecting me to the same based on the previous review. I have had similar experiences dealing with porch.com's having introduced like characters mascarading as certified contractors, but they've been anything but. I stopped using porch.com years ago for this very reason as I do not utilize Angie's List for the same reasons. Rest assured, I will never utilize porch.com again as a result of this latter experience. I will not recommend to anyone that you not utilize this company for that is your discretion, but the review is of my experiences and you can place merit where appropriate.

I really do not want to write this review, but I feel it needs to be said. DO NOT pay this team until you have inspected their work. He will not come back after you pay him. I chose Chris over two other companies because of his energy and eagerness to get going. They came in and did a really good job in getting the ground ready…laid most of the sod and then it rained…took another 3 days to get it in. When finished he told me to really hit it good with water…which we did. Even installed an irrigation system after 2 days. Applied 300 lbs of 40-0-0 on 1,000 yards of sod and watered daily. By looking at the pictures you can see that a significant amount did not come in…his excuse was we did not water, but there are sections that are really green and growing. I offered to pay for additional sod if he would get some one to lay it. Call him, Texted him and still nothing. Do business with someone else. I am calling the BBB on him as well.
