Deck and Back lawn in Eagle Rock | Feb 2018 | Because the owner wanted a classic green yard, but also one that was low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, we used high-quality artificial turf that looks almost indistinguishable from grass. Adding to the impact and atmosphere is our signature paving stone grid along with river pebbles framing the whole yard. This yard is now the perfect space for barbecues, bonfires, or just taking in the sun. | Los Angeles, CA
Backyard Renovation in Koreatown | Jun 2017 | On this project, Flores Artscape collaborated with a prominent New York architectural designer chosen by the property owner. Together, we turned this humble concrete and gravel lot into a resplendent oasis of peace and privacy. Utilizing the existing Lemon tree, we created a sort of desert zen garden, replete with river stones, agave, and kangaroo paw. Every inch of the space is well-utilized with two separate seating areas for entertaining and relaxing. The custom built oversized bench is perfect for intimate dinner parties in the open air. There's even room for outdoor games on an open grass area. | Los Angeles, CA
Front and Backyard Desert Landscape | May 2016 | Our designers utilized the large space with a modern design and a variety of plants including lovely Calandrinia spectabilis, vibrant kangaroo paw, and bold foxtail agave. Despite its size and diversity, this landscape is practically maintenance-free and extremely water conservative. In fact, this 750 square foot area uses only 48 gallons of water per month; whereas a plain grass lawn of this size would require almost 2000 gallons of water per month. | Pasadena, CA |
