Alcon Painting and Construction

I went on home advisor and Luis from Alcon painting was the first to respond and give me a quote. He claimed he could do the job well and make my kitchen look nice. So, unfortunately, I took him for his word and gave him the job. The first red flag was that he showed up 45 minutes late. The second was that he didn’t have his own paint rollers, luckily I had some spare in my basement. The biggest issue and the worst is that he GOT PAINT SPLATTER ALL OVER MY NEW HARDWOOD FLOOR. I took pictures and I showed it to him (he was painting while I was out of town for the weekend so I wasn’t there to supervise, and naively left the check in the mailbox for him), asking for him to fix it/ clean it up. He denied that it was him. They were brand new floors, he was the only painter there, it wa obviously him. I had to touch up what he did, too. Very sloppy work. I should’ve painted the kitchen myself it would’ve come out better. This is our first house and we’re young, new parents. We thought hiring a professional would give us professional results.
