Aftermath Structural Repair

My experience with Aftermath; 1. I got a quote from them for $25,000 before purchasing the house. 2. After purchasing the house, the quote was increased to $39,000. I accepted their story for the change, but negotiated it to $33K and signed the contract. I should have known better. 3. The contract called for a permit. They did not get one. 4. I was holding final payment until they provided the permit. By email, they told me they were working on it. On the date they sent that email, they had filed a lien and lawsuit, and never provided a permit. 5. The were supposed to provide final elevation readings. They did not. 6. They raised one part of the house too high, and now there is a hump inside that can’t be corrected without great expense. 7. Their work failed. The piers had to be reopened, and the interior floors had to be dug up again. 8. When I asked about warranty when their work started to fail, they said it would be 10 weeks before they could look at it. I couldn't wait that long. 9. I had to pay another company to repair the work that Aftermath did. Choose wisely.
