"The Best Pool Builder in Mahomet and Champaign Illinois" (That's a bold claim for a pool builder...!) My name is Noel Valade; I'm the founder and co-owner of Imperial Pools in Mahomet Illinois. Along with my wife and the rest of the Imperial Pools team, we design, install, service and maintain swimming pools and hot tubs throughout the Mahomet, Champaign, and Central Illinois area. I know it's pretty bold of me to claim that we're "the Best of the Best." But we sincerely believe it, and I'll give you 10 reasons why you can believe it too: Strongest Warranties We offer the strongest warranties in the business. We're the only pool builder in central Illinois that offers an incredible five year warranty on all pool equipment. (Most builders offer just a 12 month warranty.) Our concrete shells come with a 10 year warranty, our vinyl liners have a 20 year prorated warranty, and our fiberglass shells come with a lifetime warranty. Super-Strong Construction All of our beautiful vinyl-liner pools use the lifetime guaranteed Trimax XP3 steel wall system. It's the strongest steel pool system in the industry and comes with a strong lifetime transferable warranty. The Deepest Vinyl Liner Pool Available We're one of only a handful of pool builders in the country offering vinyl liner swimming pools with the extra-tall 48 inch "Extreme Wall." And we're the only pool builder in the world that offers the "Imperial 54 pool. It's a custom-manufactured sidewall that gives you an unheard 54 sidewall and more than 48 inches of water depth in a vinyl liner pool. Bigger, Better Plumbing Where most builders use 1.5 inch or 2 inch plumbing, we always use 2 inch suction lines. And we use 2 inch return lines, when most other builders use inch and a half. It requires less energy, and it keeps your pool cleaner longer. No Cheap, Short Cut Materials We never use flex line on any of our pools. (Flex line may be faster, easier and cheaper, than hard plumbing, but flex line has flow restrictions that create turbulence and sap a full horsepower from your pump. Flex line is also more prone to leak. So we just don't use it. Ever.) Superior Foundation For optimum stability and longevity, we use 100% pea gravel backfill. It gives 98% compaction, compared to only 80% compaction form the sand that most pool builders use. (It also allows for better drainage; that's why it's required on all fuel tank installations throughout the state.) The Hidden Extras We always build a 2 foot deep de-watering trench under every pool, which eliminates any possible issues with groundwater. (Oddly, most other pool builders don't bother with this trench at all.)
