McGrath Custom Hardwoods

Just want to share a great find! I do a lot of interior furniture building, desks, wall units etc. and finding great wood is hard to come by. I was confined to Lowes anti did not provide me the wood with character I was looking for. A friend recommended McGrath Custom Hardwood & Tiny Homes of Hilton Head. I figured they were to big for a small DIY person and is was SO WRONG. James and his team were fantastic. I was able to acquire 100 + year old Tobacco Barn wood, which is amazing. He has his own mill saw so he acquires downed trees (we have a lot of those around since the hurricane) cuts them into planks and has a drying/curing area. Any kind of wood you would need. he can find it. His wood is all reclaimed from either old buildings or downed trees! Yeah amazing! In addition he offers suggestions with my projects, which has been extremely helpful. James is a Vet and is pro Vet for his team and suppliers. He is opening a non profit company just to support rehabilitation of veterians. Lastly he has yet another venture called Tiny Homes of Hilton Head, you need to search them out on their Facebook page because the quality of workmanship he is putting into those homes is something I haven't seen in a long time.
