Anthony & Sylvan Pools

If I could give it a "0" I would and I have actually never written a review, good or bad for anything in my life. HORRIBLE customer service, everything was rushed, money was collected corners cut and no resolution or call backs. I had a pool plaster renovation and the planning, design and demolition all went fine, however the plaster, equipment, testing and execution were beyond horrible. The lines were never pressure tested despite that being one of the main reasons I communicated that I wanted a renovation, because I have to constantly refill with water. Of course the pool still leaks and I have to refill every day, cutting corners. They passed me from some rep to some post construction person who came out verified it was leaking, said some manager would reach out and they never did. Plaster was extremely rushed, despite me telling them multiple times to not do it on a rainy day. The crew had a gigantic tarp out to cover the pool which of course did not work and therefore there are streaks on the steps and walls and they also spilled acid all over the deck so there is bleaching, looks horrible. They rushed to install a heater, another one of the core reasons I renovated. They collected money but did not finish installing the venting and so I have not been able to test or run the heater despite me reaching out multiple times. Lastly, they waited until the week, 1 week before they finished the plaster to inform me that...oops by the way they did not service pools in my area despite doing construction there and that I would have to hire my own pool company to care after the new plaster which obviously has a significantly more in-depth care process that needs to be followed for the first few weeks, not cool at all and very hard to find because it was during startup season. I had to hire a private person at great cost all because of no communication. I would have rather they passed on the job if they couldn't service it because a surprisingly large number of companies do not like to service new plaster pools, turns out. I live a very pool centric area in NJ and will make sure to tell everyone I come across to not use Sylvan, I already advised my neighbor across the street and they went with another provider. Do NOT use them, absolutely incomprehensible, rude and resulted in a lot of additional money I had to spend.

Anthony and Sylvan is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with and I am 51 years old. I co tracked my pool back in November and I still have an embarrassing hole in my backyard. Excuse after excuse why nothing gets done week after week - DO NOT BELIEVE their sales pitch. All their good reviews on here were from YEARS ago!!!! Beware!!!
