Ronan and Kristine McAshan | May 2015 | This shower area was a complete gut to the stud walls. There was quit a bit of water damage to the studs which had to be removed before the shower could be rebuilt. Old copper lines were replaced with PEX lines and brass Shark Bite fittings. New Moen valve and shower components. New L.E.D. ligts in the raised ceiling as well as a new heater/vent/light combo unit. All new tiled walls and ceiling. Stone accent bands were done completely by hand, including the floor stones. Large shelf was built into the wall and extruded from it as well for a larger surface area. The existing window in the shower was removed and replaced with glass block. The window over the toilet was removed and replaced with a more energy efficient window. The entry floor was tiled and a new toilet was installed. | San Antonio, TX | ||
