Emily came over at a time that was convenient for me and my husband did a thorough walk through, took measurements and discussed design budget. She provided me with several creative kitchen layouts and respectfully stayed within my design fee budget. I highly recommend her.

I didn't realize the value of using a designer in the first step of a remodeling project until I retained Emily's design services. I had only a general idea of converting a large family room into a bedroom and bathroom that would accommodate my future "aging-in-place." Emily, with her architectural and design training, competently measured and analyzed the space and converted my vague ideas into five professionally-drawn to-scale drawings of possible room configurations. She asked all the right questions regarding function, budget, and feasibility in a professional and pragmatic way. I am delighted that I can now imagine myself in each of the plans she drew prior to actually beginning my remodeling project. I think that by using Emily's expertise I have prevented potential mistakes that may have occurred had I begun my project with a building contractor.
