About ATLANTA DESIGN & BUILD
Founded in 1996 by H. Dale Contant, CR (Watch a video of Dale!), as Sun-Fun Remodeling Inc., our company built a reputation as a quality provider of remodeling services. Our projects began as "outdoor" remodeling specialties: decks, screened porches, three-season rooms, arbors, room additions, etc. We have always taken pride in the high level of customer support delivered to each project. Over the years, as our skills and expertise expanded adding to our list of specialties, we changed our name to Atlanta Design & Build to better represent who we are. Our talents extend beyond the outdoor arena to include: bathroom renovations, master-bath suite renovations, total kitchen remodeling, basement renovations, whole-house renovations as well as interior and exterior specialties! Recognition received for our award-winning designs also established us as a full-service design/build organization, able to meet all customer requirements with our in-house design team.

  | Kitchen, Keeping Room and Mudroom | Sep 2013 | The client has a long list of needs for her space to be done within the home's existing footprint. Special consideration had to be taken to increase traffic flow and storage space when designing building the floorplan. The island became a central workspace in the kitchen that houses refrigerator drawers, microwave, 36' wide prep sink, plate storage, cookbook display and seating. Special care was taken to design the custom cabinets to fit everything needed in the island and maintain good flow. The keeping room mantle was replaced with an antique rustic wood mantle, handcrafted by the contractor. Superior materials were used in the construction of the cabinetry, countertops and plumbing fixtures. Superior appliances were used throughout the kitchen and keeping room. All of these materials were selected for their long-term functional and aesthetic appeal. The crown and base moulding complemented the design of the existing home. Innovative storage solutions are present in the space: transforming an unused bench in the keeping area into a bar; creating unique storage solutions for the kitchen: spice pull-out columns, plate drawers, cookbook storage, appliance garage, garage, drop zone storage, double cutlery storage. | $160k | Marietta, GA |
