Please future clients, beware of this contractor. It is with great sadness that I report the poor job that was done on my kitchen remodeling by Mr.Kaveh, the owner of Designing Home Inc. We decided to go with him because of the great reviews below and he claims to be a professional of over 25 years but the work done in my home was short of professional with lots of pictures to prove. No one would be happy to spend over $10,000 for work done without following the building code, the exterior framework (siding) of the house and electric circuits breaking down within a week of completion, corners cut to reduce their cost and put my family's safety at jeopardy. Even when we asked questions for why the work was done certain, he always had an explanation which we accepted until we were told was false by several licensed contractors. Now we have to spend money to correct the all the damages now to ensure the integrity of my home in the future. We gave him the opportunity to correct the problem but he kept making excuses of not having time, he eventually sent a check for $800 which we used to pay for the poorly built stairs (didn't follow code and blocked the power meter) and poorly installed electric circuits. We have the receipts. But he refused to take care of the other poorly done work which he claims the $800 covers all poorly done work. We initially wrote a great review the day after Mr. Kaveh finished the work in good conscience but we wrote too soon. We discovered all the poor work in the same week of completion. They say you leave and learn. Thanks Mr. Kaveh for teaching us a valuable lesson that even though you said we didn't need one we needed one to ensure that your work was inspected and avoid all your poor work. Mo and Dolapo
