I received a proposal from David Browne at HomeWorks of Georgia for replacement of siding and other structures around my chimney that were water damaged. It also included some roof repairs and installation of gutters at the chimney and back of the home. He and his crew completed the work. I came home late that evening and viewed the completed job. Payment was made. The next morning, in the light of day, I could see that the siding adjacent to the work he had done had been damaged in the process of him doing the repair. The damage was to 13 siding pieces. I called and spoke to David and told him what I observed. He told me that, ‘Sometimes that happens.’ I expressed my displeasure and he said he would come over and look at it. He never came over. I called him many times and left a message for him to contact me so we could work this out. He never answered his phone when I called or returned my call. I had to hire someone to replace and paint the damaged siding. Although the work on the actual job I hired him to do was acceptable, he never took responsibility for the damage he caused. I do not recommend him to anyone.
The level of professionalism we experienced while using HomeWorks to complete improvements around our home was very impressive. I would not hesitate to call upon them again should the need arise.
Great. Timely professional
David Browne of Homeworks of Georgia was very professional, timely and responsive to our needs.

Masonry chimney cap | Oct 2014 | One of our clients for whom we had replaced a roof also needed a new chimney cap installed. The before photo shows that the original cap only prevented water from entering the chimney chase, the new masonry cap covers the entire chimney which protects the mortar bed, keeps birds, animals and rain from entering the chimney. | $500 | Kennesaw, GA
Chimney rebuild | Sep 2014 | While replacing a client's roof I determined the chimney facade had begun to fail. The exterior was made of hard coat stucco. Additionally the chimney cap and shroud needed some attention. We removed all the stucco, inspected and repaired the framing, install new sheathing, Hardiplank siding, and a new chimney cap and shroud. | $1k | Marietta, GA
GAF American Harvest roof | Sep 2014 | Client's roof initially had Atlas Chalet shingles installed when new. While giving the roof great contrast and definition, the product is prone to premature failure, often within just a few years after installation. We inspected the roof and found moderate hail damage, in turn, the insurer wound up paying to replace the roof. We installed the new roof and made many corrections and improvements in order to provide the homeowners with many years of worry free living. | $28k | Marietta, GA
