I had SonTrust come out to install new hardwood floors to our existing hardwood flooring. They resurfaced everything and stained it a beautiful grey color. They also removed old carpeting and vinyl from the bedrooms and bathrooms and installed new carpeting, padding and vinyl. Very fast, efficient and excellent workmanship. They even cleaned up and hauled away the garbage. Thank you Jason King !!! The Landrums.

He did a great job of installing the carpet on our stairway. He was very easy to communicate with and was very timely in accomplishing the job. I have a few upcoming projects and he is the first person I'd call.

Jason impressed us with his professionalism, knowledge and skill in the trade, and hard-working, dedicated-work ethic. He went above and beyond for us in many instances, helping us move furniture, carrying the heavy flooring upstairs, having all the tools, saws and guillotine cutter to properly install the floor. I knew how heavy the flooring weighed when I helped the Fedex Freight delivery guy carry the six tons of flooring boxes, one-by-one, each weighing fifty pounds, into our garage. Jason carried half of those upstairs to be installed. He is fit enough to do the job, with seemingly endless amounts of energy and strength. We had a lot of anxiety about undertaking a complete replacement of all the floors in our home while living in it with two kids and five dogs. Jason was super cool, encouraging, and brought his high-positive energy everyday and got the job done. As we witnessed the floor being installed, he explained to us the difference between how he was laying the planks, and how a “do-it-yourselfer” might do it and why how he was installing it was the professional way. We initially sought out to hire a floor-installing contractor when our dishwasher leaked and damaged the cheap laminate flooring in our kitchen. We had several water mitigation companies our to assess the damage. We appreciated Jason’s conservative advice and we were able to dry out the sub-floor and not tear out the kitchen island, which saved us a lot of money. Jason was supportive of our desire to paint a non-permeable membrane on the subfloor on the kitchen and he even met me at Lowe’s to show me which product was the best to purchase and use. We hired Jason to lay about 2400 square feet of Cali Bamboo Luxury Vinyl Plank Aged Hickory under lament and flooring after having no less than six other contractors out to give a bid for the job. Jason stood above the rest as someone who I would want to welcome in my home because he was the only one who showed up to his interview bathed, in clean clothes and with a clean-shaven face. He was also the only contractor who was respectful of our posted house rules to remove shoes during the bid. Jason spoke about orchestrating this big project and working as a team to get it done. It worked out really well to have a dumpster delivered to our home to dispose of all the old flooring and packaging from the new flooring. Jason was an enormous help in teaching us how to remove carpet and laminate. Our many fears and anxieties about not knowing how to do a job like this were one-by-one set to rest as we learned from Jason and gained confidence that he really knew what he was doing because he explained it to us as we went along. Jason removed and replaced the baseboards as the floor was installed and showed us how to remove the old caulking. He R/R the three toilets, had a special tool to easily move our heavy refrigerator, washer and dryer, and oven/stove and he helped my husband install our new dishwasher. Over the 4-week period we spent some very long days completing this project and we had some very engaging conversations over coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was great to get to know Jason as a person and we are inspired by his story and the kind of quality man he is. We would not hesitate to hire Jason again and would recommend him highly to anyone looking to hire a contractor to install flooring. He will go above and beyond. He even did some dry-wall patch work for us pro-bono and caulked some cracks in our bathroom walls. I felt comfortable having him in our home, around our kids and dogs even liked him, so he passed the test. We look forward to enjoying our beautiful floor for the next 50 years. Jason is very conscientious about his work and has made follow-up calls to make sure we are happy and everything is still good. Jason did an excellent job caulking around door jams and installing the molding around the fireplace and our crawlspace hatch in a closet. Overall, we had a great experience and are very grateful to have worked with Jason. Hire him to do your next job and you will be glad you did!
