Guys a con artist former used car salesman

I got an estimate for a roof replacement in Feb 2018. I gave him a check for $3900.00 for materials. I wanted dry weather for a total tear off. My sister was diagnosed with cancer in another state. I spent two months with her and spent my savings for the other half of the roof. I called Rod to get a refund at the end of April. He said he already bought the materials. He said he may be able to sell the color to someone else. For the last 2 months it's been excuses and lies. I told him to have the materials delivered but I have yet to see them. I don't have a new roof and with no savings will probably lose my home.

I was on the job site for their McQuinn Naturopathic job and before they finshed they walked off the job site with a lot of work still to be done, they were paid in full and then some before they were even close to finishing the job. We had to do our open house with things not being finished and that was a week past there deadline, and with the McQuinns being such great people they let RW Construction put up signs for advertising at the open house. McQuinn Naturopathic still has unfinished work to be done by them. I would never recommend this company, even to my worst enemy.

I think rod has a good heart but his project management skills leave much to be desired. Hired him for a $53,000 job and $76,000 later he walked off the job cause he couldn’t afford to stay on it, he still seems to think I owe him $10,000. Nothing changed from the original bid, same deadline same job. It’s going to Court now. As we still have a laundry room to bust up concrete and install. I bet he’s be an amazing employee but not to be handed another medium size job by me or anyone in my circle. The. To blackmail leing our building before the jobs even complete come on Rod! Your a good guy, that’s not you!
