Blackburn Architecture is a consulting practice focused on building envelope performance, condition assessment, defect and damage investigation, and expert witness. Our goal is to assist building and home owners, insurance companies, and attorneys in determining conditions, the cause and origin of damage and defects, and determine effective and economical repair and restoration methods, procedures, and costs. Typical performance issues are related to water penetration, air leakage, and thermal performance of the building envelope wall cladding, doors and windows, and roofs.
