Anderson - Paint & Remodel kitchen

Feb 2014

The retired homeowners of this beautiful brick ranch had down sized and moved to a condo. They decided to sell their home "as is". After 10 months on the market and 2 low ball offers, they invested some money in updates ($3,100) and a little staging to compete with the other comps on the market. We painted a neutral Tan through out the house that complemented the great room floor vinyl and the hardwood floors. (foyer, dinning room, living room, hallway and master bedroom) Added Crown Molding to living room and dinning room. Remodeled low kitchen cabinets by cutting them off and raising them up to be able to serve and entertain between kitchen and great room. Primed and painted kitchen cabinets inside and out. Primed and painted 2 bathrooms - cabinets and walls, replaced old light fixtures and faucets with new brushed nickle ones. Staged Living Room, Dinning Room and Kitchen. 3 days later they received an offer and got their asking price!

Zuelsdorph- Main Floor Bath

Jan 2014

The Home owner had already purchased paint. I taped off all baseboard molding and covered floors and cabinetry with plastic to protect. This wall paper was original 80's wall paper. The builder did NOT prime the walls before putting up the wall paper so it was up there good. Stripped and washed the walls down to remove all adhesive. Repaired drywall and filled holes were holes and defects were revealed around the light fixture and window sill that the builder had covered over with wall paper. Sanded, Primed and painted. I had recommended that the homeowner go ahead and replace the faucet and vanity light fixture with brushed nickle ones. Now they have that "Coastal Feel" bathroom and it looks great!

The Heathers - Bathroom paint and custom cabinet

Sep 2013

In this small powder room we updated the worn dark brown vanity cabinet by painting it a beautiful turquoise blue. We painted the walls a light linen color with white Trim moldings. For more storage we custom built a white towel cabinet (flush mounted it into the wall cavity making it disappear, great way to use dead space in the walls) with a chalk board door for a little bit of whimsy! Project breakout: Custom storage cabinet painted and installed- $180 Prep & Paint walls, trim, door & Sand, prime and paint vanity cabinet and change out cabinet knobs - $140

The Heathers - Paint Kitchen cabnets, walls and Redesign

Jan 2012

In this Kitchen redesign we removed the "L" shaped counter that stuck out into the kitchen and disrupted the walk through flow and Installed a new kitchen window. The old dark builder grade cabinets were showing alot of wear and tear but were very solid well built cabinets. They kept existing cabinets and doors but went with new hidden hinges and knobs. We applied Crown molding to the top of the cabinets and decorative moldings to the existing cabinet doors. We custom built a pull out trash/dog food drawer with butcher block top and a custom built refrigerator cabinet with a side pantry and chalkboard panel. Painted all cabinets white and a fresh coat of celery green on the walls. Put on new brushed nickle knobs and pulls giving this drab dark kitchen a clean classic finish!
