Blackwell Electrical

Supposed to rewire my detached shop, took over $1500 from me and has delayed the start of the project twice. After researching the company, which I should have done first, discovered he is not even licensed in NC. He is listed on thumbtack as C and C electric service, then changed to Carl's electric service. He has you write checks to his "son" Cameron Blackwell. There are 9 BBB complaints against him, fighting now to get my money back... Steer clear...

Stay away from these guys. Regardless of what they tell you they are NOT licensed in NC (a class 2 misdemeanor). They will take your money, do shoddy work or none at all then disappear only to come back as a different company name. An inspection of the work they did do revealed many major code violations, inadequate materials for the job, and items invoiced but not installed. I had Mr Blackwell's response to my original review deleted because it was full of ... lets say ... inaccuracies and irrelevant babble to say the least. He has no response now when presented with the inspection report from a truly licensed professional. I highly encourage anyone jilted by these fools to contact the North Carolina Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors www.ncbeec.org, the NC Department of Justice www.ncdoj.com/Consumer.aspx and your local law enforcement.

Don't waste your time with these guys. They took $2K advance from me and never showed up to finish the work.

Terrible. Pretends to be a lisenced electrician but is not. Took $2500 from us and did no work then blocked us from all communication. BEWARE!!! He lied and used his wife to come get the check to “buy materials”.
