I selected Brandon Camp, aka NTX Builders, Camp Contractors, EcoTex Developments and BGC Builders, to construct a pavestone retaining wall behind my house to replace an aging railroad ("RR") tie wall. Camp was starting a wall next door to me and convinced me he could build two walls better, faster, cheaper than one...........I paid him $6,150 of the $12,500 due and we executed a General Contractor Agreement outlining the work to be done. Camp then removed the RR tie wall and then stopped work. Come to find out he did not file the required permit with the City as he stated to me he had done before starting the work. After several weeks of no progress, I asked Camp for the balance of the funds paid to him to be reimbursed to me so I could hire someone else to complete the wall. Camp promised to repay the funds but after three months, I have still not received the balance of the funds Camp owes me. He has disappeared, and has not completed the wall next door to me after starting the RR tie removal work over three months ago. Truth is that Camp has never completed a retaining wall before and had NO idea what he was doing..........he is a common, dishonest thief. I have had to hire an attorney to attempt to collect moneys still due.

I have attempted to contact Brandon Camp (previously the president of Camp Contractors and now the president of NTX Builders) about damage done during the installation that he performed of our brand new double oven and cabinetry rework since October of 2014. Despite a signed letter from Brandon stating he would take all actions to repair our oven by August 6, 2014, it remains unusable and Brandon has consistently avoided contact with us for over nine months. Our two week project with Brandon at the helm ended up taking over 5 months, and the damage has yet to be rectified, despite his guarantee that it would be as a condition of us paying him. Since signing a letter stating that he would make us whole, Brandon Camp has moved from being the president of Camp Contractors, LLC to being the president of NTX Builders. In our experience, Brandon Camp will promise a fast and high quality service; however, when things are delayed or damaged (in our case, by Brandon himself as he installed and damaged our oven), he will guarantee that he will make things right, but ultimately will not follow through. It's been over one year since we hired Brandon Camp for a 10 day remodel and we're still trying to have him make good on his word. Brandon Camp may provide a much more reliable service now that he is the president of NTX Builders; however, based upon our experience with Brandon when he was the president of Camp Contractors, LLC, the regrettable fact is that we have been left with costly repairs because of choosing him as a contractor. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend choosing Brandon as a reliable contractor.
