I was thinking of getting an office room (First Project) added to my new home for a while but I am bit nervous on finding a right contractor. When I approached Lowes guys, they asked me to go to Porch.com, but I am still not sure where I will land up. Then I have been contacted by Sergio from SLM General Contractors and then things started falling in place one by one. Since day one when Sergio came to my place, till finish the project everything fall in place like a sequence. He suggested me what is appropriate while fulfilling my requirements. Provided all the documentation needed for HOA and got done with City approvals. The work done and job material utilized in great quality. Over all, SLM Team performed an excellent job in getting the office room done in timely manner. I am very impressed with SLM and would definely consider for my future projects.

McKinney interior door replacement from swing to french style. | Aug 2015 | We were called to provide an estimate to replace a swing style bathroom door that was taking too much room while it was open due to the master bathroom design. The homeowners had done some research and knew that there was not a set of French style doors that would fit in the existing door frame. They asked for an estimate to remove the existing door, remove the door frame in order to widen the opening. This required to relocate a double electrical switch which required to pull permits with the city. After looking at the project, we provided a much more cost effective solution to the problem which alleviated the need for demolition, re framing and having to relocate any electrical switches. We purchased the french doors and were able to shave off half inch on each side. This allowed the new doors to fit properly on the existing door frame and there was no need to do any electrical work. We added the hinges and door hardware. This saved the homeowners about $800.00 in labor that another handyman had quoted before us. At SLM General Contractors, we are not looking to make the most profit, but to provide the most cost effective solution and services to our customers. We look at your project as if it is our own and keep your satisfaction our number one priority . | $800 | McKinney, TX | |
