NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Steven was thoroughly unprofessional when contracted to build our deck in Mechanicsville. He was untimely, inconsiderate and rude especially given the generous timeframe and the fact the entire amount ($7000) was paid in whole and upfront. I had to remind him of the original plan which required numerous corrections to the deck. He routinely showed up without prior notification that severely inconvenienced our plans. Craftsmanship was substandard and when shown that it was of poor quality reacted with indignation. Steven got a building permit begrudgingly only after I had argued with him that it was unacceptable to not have gotten one given the scope/type of deck built. Our deck still has not been finished (hinge replacement) even after numerous chances have been given to him to correct it. NOT RECOMMENDED.....HIRE SOMEONE ELSE
