"Tony diagnosed and repaired by bathroom vent that was causing a foul odor. Tony was great- he spent a lot of time on the phone with me even before meeting me, to try and help diagnose what was going on with my bathroom vent. There was a foul odor coming from my tub, and he ran through the different possible causes on the phone. When he came, he was very professional and personable- diagnosed and fixed the situation easily. He also gave us tips about other things he saw in our house (which was built in 1908). I would definitely use Tony again. The one thing is that it took a while for him to schedule us, as this was a non-emergency situation and Tony does all of the business himself- however he explained that in a month or so he is hiring an administrative assistant who can help his scheduling. Thanks Tony!"

"Checked my heating system. Found fan control board had gone bad. My unit is no longer manufactured and no one in Richmond carries the parts. Tony found the part in Raleigh, NC. It would take 2 days go get delivery. Tony and I talked about my options and I decided my best option was to consider a new unit in order to avoid problems of no available parts if had something else break. I was very impressed by Tony's obvious concern about how to keep my house heated temporarily until i can get a permanent solution. Also, his concern about trying to save me as much money as possible. I would definitely recommend Tony for his honesty, his concern and his knowledge in diagnosing my heating problem. Tony was about an hour later than scheduled, but it was an afternoon appointment and he was delayed by previous appointment taking longer than anticipated and having to deal with some road construction. Many people give you anywhere from a half day to a full day window of time in which they will arrive. Tony scheduled an actual time and although it was an afternoon appointment he was only off schedule by 1 hour."

"Tony inspected both of my HVAC systems to make sure they were ready for the winter. He also took the time to explain some basic things to me so that I could either fix a problem or know to call him. In addition, he fixed an electrical outlet in my living which was shorted out. Tony spent a lot of time at my house. He knew I lived alone, and he went out of his way to check certain things, such as my security system, and make recommendations to improve my safety. He asked if I had a fire extinguisher and when I told him no, he got after me to buy one right away, which I did. These little extra attentions made me feel that he went the extra mile to insure my satisfaction. There was a misunderstanding over the amount I paid,, but I learned later that he actually gave me a break on his usual per hour price. We have scheduled a time for him to return and do some more work in the house."

"We used Tony's Heating & Air Appliance Repair and Handyman to install a new toilet. They also did some general handyman repairs like replacing the vanity and floor in the bathroom. They were very good. They did very high quality work. They told us everything before they did anything and how much it would cost. They were very professional and they were on time. They were very clean and efficient. It was a big deal purchase. We got them to do some other work too."
